FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a referral to begin services?
Yes. In the state of Colorado, a referral from your child’s primary care provider is required. Once we receive the physician referral, we can then schedule your child’s evaluation.

Do you accept insurance?
We are currently an in-network provider for Medicaid patients.

Where does the therapy take place?
Elevated Therapy provides home and community-based therapy that meets your child where they are most comfortable.

What age range do you work with?
We work with children of all ages, ranging from newborns to 18 year olds.
How long will therapy sessions last?
Duration and frequence of therapy sessions are completely dependent on the individual needs of each client. There are no two clients exactly alike. However, the OT evaluation will help determine the appropriate plan of care. On average, 45 to 60 minute sessions, done once or twice a week, are most common.
My child has already been evaluated for occupational therapy. Is another evaluation required?
If your child has undergone an occupational therapy evaluation within the past six months, we can work from the previously done evaluation to create an individualized treatment plan and goals.
